Lazy hair styles

Being in quarantine has given everyone some extra free time - that means more of us are spending more time reading, trying new recipes, and more. While we are in this new temporary reality, it’s important to try not to take to the at-home dye or scissors! Instead, we’re here to help with some lazy-girl, dirty hair styles to experiment with.
Here are some beautiful styles that are easy to do at home - and hopefully they’ll have you rethinking the messy bun you’ve been wearing on the daily.

The timeless half-up top knot is easy to do and it is flattering on every face shape. Simply sweep the top half or a portion of your hair in to a bun, and secure with a clear hair tie or a few bobby pins.

No two messy buns are the same. The key to nailing a messy bun style is to create your bun while your hair is a little messy. Sweep your hair up and tie it in to a bun, then pull a few pieces of your hair out around your face to create an effortless (but not disheveled) look.

A low pony is the perfect way to wear second or third day hair. Here are our tips on how to style a low pony:
  1. Part your hair down the middle and pull back behind your ears.
  2. Backcomb the crown for fullness on top.
  3. Smooth by lightly by brushing over the top of the hair you just backcombed.
  4. Fasten the back section into a low ponytail.
  5. Pull a 1/2 in section from the ponytail and wrap around your hair tie, then secure with a bobby pin.
