The best hair accessories for summer

Hair accessories are one of the hottest trends to hit the scene this summer, and they are functional and flattering on everyone. What's not to love?

The best part about accessorizing with our hair is that the looks are so versatile and affordable. We're seeing hairstyles and accessories that give a nod to the '90's, however clips and scrunchies have grown up a lot since then. Wearing accessories is no longer just for teens, but for women of all ages and all events, from formal events to a 9 to 5, or a night out.
Read on for some of our favorite ways to accessorize your hair…

Braids

Learning to braid your hair requires some skill and patience, but once you get the hang of it, you never forget how. Braids are a quick way to amp up your look fast! We love the look of two simple 3-strand braids to frame the face, accompanied by your natural texture.

Florals

Flowers and foliage have made the leap from wedding aisles and runways into everyday wear. No matter your style or length, pick flowers that are sturdy enough to be pinned and tucked into a braid or loose flowing waves. Keep the stem an inch or so long so that a pin can easily secure it in place for a beautiful floral statement!

Clips

When it comes to hair clips, placement is everything. Add clips while pulling your hair back to accentuate your cheekbones and eyes. Don’t be afraid to use more than one clip - using at least a few allows for less hair to be crammed in to one clip.
