Wash and go curls

If you have wavy or curly hair, you know the process of transforming your sometimes misbehaved curls into a beautiful head of ringlets or waves is not always an easy task. Kind of like the ‘no makeup-makeup’ look, we love the idea of wearing your curls as natural as possible without looking like, well, a mess. Styling curls is not a one-size-fits-all routine, but we have a few tricks (read more below) to incorporate into your daily routine to accentuate your natural curls or waves.
Let it be known that just because you have curly hair, it doesn't mean that you have to stick to flat ironing or throwing your hair up in a bun. Just take a cue from some of these gorgeous wash and go styles:

For the woman who wants to do as little as possible and let her curls work for her, this one's for you.

Use a Sulfate-Free shampoo + conditioner.

Curls sometimes come along with frizz, so downplaying frizz when washing your hair is a must. We recommend using a hydrating shampoo and conditioner, and those that are also Sulfate-Free as Sulfates can further dry out your hair. R+Co’s CASSETTE Shampoo and Conditioner serve as fabulous options for anyone with dry and curly hair looking to restore moisture levels and shine while defining curls.

After washing, use a primer.

After you step out of the shower, implement the use of a primer. R+Co’s TWISTER Primer acts as a foundation for all your other styling products. It also adds moisture for definition and to prevent hair from feeling crunchy. This primer will not weigh down your hair but instead offers a lightweight glaze.

Define and style with a styling créme.

To keep your curls defined and bouncy, opt for a lightweight and hydrating styling cream a la R+Co’s TURNTABLE Curl Defining Créme. This crème is lightweight and designed to nourish and shape without weighing down wavy and curly hair or making curls crunch.
